Had dinner her as part of a wedding and at a separate dining occasion. The restaurant's food was okay, but there are better options locally at better prices. (Tempo, Black & Blue) The food during the wedding reception was mediocre at best and the wait staff clear tableware as soon as you take your hands off of it. They cleared our champagne glasses before the toasts. A few people didn't get served at all for some courses because they'd got up to go to the bathroom and weren't at the table when the food was brought out.
Me and my husband came here for the weekend after our wedding . well worth coming here . amazing experience. Loved the food, the atmosphere, the waiter. .every thing was PREFECT.
Food was delicious, however incredibly slow service. Asked for pepper for salad, never came back with it. Had to request for water to be refilled more than once. Seated in "elegant patio dining room" (said the person who brought us to the table). Nothing elegant about it. They are blasting elevator music to try to cover the noise of heavy traffic zooming by on the other side of a canvas wall. Very unpleasant experience. There are many restaurants in Buffalo that have great food AND great ambiance. Skip this one.
A great place for a great meal. And it's quiet! A little pricier than other restaurants but worth it. Great for couples that want to have a conversation over dinner. Service is outstanding. Food is excellent.
We love staying at the Grand Hotel! We have made it our spot since our wedding night 5.5 yrs ago! The service is always better. This time was a first; We went to Salvatore's Italian Gardens! The food was amazing. But the best part was the service. Beyond professional! We loved our waiter and can't remember his name. His help (named John or maybe he was John) was working that night as well. For a first time experience they made us feel like we were at home. With the most amazing recommendations, and our waiter even predicted our dessert choices before we could order. He just read our mind! We will continue to come back time after time. We really want to recognise our waiter as he was outstanding. We just can't remember his name!!!!!! However, Salvatore's... Our waiter should receive a bonus! You food is good but he is the reason we will be back! Thank you sir for your outstanding service! You made us feel welcome! If you can find him to show him our gratitude we had dinner 9/8/17 around 6-7 pm.
